Shadows of the Damned Bombs Stateside

July 18, 2011 by Ian Miles Cheong

Shadows of the Damned failed to make a dent in sales in the United States.

The Japanese attempt to invade American store shelves with Shadows of the Damned has failed miserably. Published by Electronic Arts, the third person game with an odd aesthetic failed to make any impact on sales, selling a miserable 24,000 copies within the first month of its release.

The underwhelming sales of the game on both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 will come as a blow to fans of Suda 51, who has long been lauded as a creative genius, the game did not make much of an impact with gamers in general, although critics were far more charitable towards the title and its content.
