WWE 2K15: Roster Leak Debunked, Justin Gabriel Possibly Removed, And More

July 30, 2014 by Ryan Parreno

If it’s possible Justin Gabriel is off the roster, it’s also possible Adam Rose was sneaked in.

We have new details for you for WWE 2K15, starting with an official debunking of the leaked roster list.

A 2K Sports spokesperson has officially debunked the leaked roster list we shared a while back. At this point, the only safe confirmed wrestlers are the ones we shared with you prior to the leak, having been confirmed by the wrestlers and/or 2K Sports. It is also highly likely that the more popular members of WWE's current active roster, so think the likes of Cesaro, the Authority, Randy Orton, and so forth, will also make it, but from then on we would not know. Yes, it is doubtful but I am holding out hope the actual roster could have more women wrestlers in it, possibly even some Legends.

Justin Gabriel flatly denied he would be in the game when asked by a fan on Twitter, after posting a picture of himself being scanned by 2K Sports. He could be flat out lying to get heat off, or more likely, saying no until he knows for sure himself. He took down the abovementioned picture from his Twitter account later. Justin has been in the spotlight before, but not now.

Adam Rose says he hopes he will be in the game. While regular WWE viewers will have known him by now (his gimmick started last March), it may not have been enough time for 2K Sports to program him in. It should be said, unlike Justin, Adam is currently in WWE’s spotlight, and given the uncertainty of how long a gimmick gets pushed in the WWE nowadays, this might be his best chance to get in.

Lastly, here’s some disappointing information, although it is more speculation at the moment. Playstation 4/Xbox one do not support custom soundtracks, so those versions of the game may not have that feature. It seems doubtful Sony and Microsoft would act to get that feature in time just for this one game, so you may as well forget it.

WWE 2K15 is coming October 28 to PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, and Xbox One.
