Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu has a new feature of Kingdom Hearts in their August 7th issue that runs the gamut of previewing the upcoming Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX, as well as screenshots of cutscenes from the Kingdom Hearts Re:coded content set to make it into the game.
For those of you not in the know, Re:coded is a complete NDS remake of an original title developed for a Japanese mobile phone. Because the phone is available only in Japan, the game is being remade for a wider audience.
Powered by the 358/2 Days engine, its formerly 2D sprites have been remade into 3D, including pre-rendered cutscenes, voice acting, and a remixed soundtrack, among many other new features.
Scans from the magazine, which were scanned in by Kingdom Hearts fansite KHInsider, showcase the following locations in Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX: Wonderland, Agrabah, Hollow Bastion, The Datascape, and Castle Oblivion.
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX will release in Japan on the October 2nd, followed by a release in North America on December 2nd.
