Netflix Geeked Week Will Highlight Resident Evil & Cuphead Series

May 25, 2021 by Dennis Patrick

Get ready for some big unveils next month.

When it comes to streaming services one of the biggest out there that fans have gravitated towards for years has been Netflix. They have been a game-changing service where we dropped the whole purchasing or even rental media. Here, consumers with a single click of a button were introduced to a massive catalog of television series and movies. Not to mention that there was plenty of original content added into the mix as well.

It’s not surprising that Netflix is bringing out a fandom event where more details about their upcoming shows and movies would be featured. This event will be called Geeked Week where Netflix will host some information details regarding what’s coming out. The first Geeked Week will be taking place between June 7, 2021, to June 11, 2021. It’s here that we’ll get some information on a wide range of content but also included in the mix is two gaming-related series.

For starters, we’re slated to have some details on the upcoming The Cuphead Show which is an adaptation of the hit platformer indie title, Cuphead. It looks like this will be an animated series to keep up with the theme of the video game. However, we also have more information regarding the upcoming Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness CGI series as well. No details as to what these two particular series will have showcased next month, but we’ll certainly be keeping an eye on.

Mark your calendars for #GeekedWeek! From June 7th to 11th, @NetflixGeeked will be LIVE with big news, exciting first looks, and more from the shows and films you love. pic.twitter.com/OX6udT7t13

Regardless of the specifics, we can expect exclusive news, trailers, and a virtual event from Geeked Week. There’s plenty of other shows as well such as The Witcher’s latest season which is adapted from the novels much like how the video games were adapted and tweaked from the novels. Again, Geeked Week kicks off on June 7, 2021, so you’ll want to keep following the Netflix social accounts to see when to catch the big events.
