Payday 2 Adds New Shotguns, New Melee Weapons, and Ammo Types

Overkill is adding a host of new shotguns into their cooperative first-person shooter, Payday 2. The DLC, titled the Gage Shotgun Pack, will add three new shotguns into the game, along with four melee weapons, four new ammo types for use with the shotguns, four new primate-themed masks, and a host of achievements for players to unlock.

The shotguns include the M1014, a heavy-duty semi-auto combat service shotgun; the Raven, a bullpup 12-gauge pump action shotgun with two tube magazines, each of which holds up to seven shells; and the Street Sweeper, a compact 12 gauge shotgun fed by a 12-round revolving cylinder that makes it very fast to fire but slow to reload. 

For use with the shotguns are all new ammo types, including the buckshot, the flechette, the AP Slug, and the HE round. 

On the melee side of things, there’s the survival tomahawk, the utility machete, the telescopic baton (so you can pretend to be Aiden Pearce from Watch Dogs), and the shovel.
