John Cena Named WWE 2K15’s Cover Star

July 1, 2014 by Stephen Daly

Box art for the game has also been released.

The cover athlete of WWE 2K15 will be John Cena, it was announced during the June 30th episode of Monday Night Raw.

WWE 2K15 is the second game in the series to be developed at 2K Sports following the company's acquisition of the franchise from the defunct THQ. The development team is using the same face scanning technology that powers the NBA 2K franchise – which is well regarded for the realism of its graphics.

Some of the updated roster for 2K15 includes Bray Wyatt, Cesaro, and Roman Reigns. The game is set for release on October 28th in North America and October 31st in Europe for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

Cena commented that, "It is truly an honour and privilege to serve as the WWE 2K15 cover Superstar".

You can check out the game's cover below.
