Blizzard’s card game Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is about to get an expansion in the form of a single-player campaign called Curse of Naxxramas. It’s out in July, according to a community manager from Blizzard. The expansion is based on the World of Warcraft raiding area.
The solo campaign will see players facing off against hordes of undead opponents in the Scourge necropolis of Naxxramas, which players of World of Warcraft will be more than familiar with, if they ever experienced the content in-game.
The adventure will include 30 new cards and feature five ‘wings’ to the adventure, the first and last of which are free. The others must be unlocked for in-game gold or real money, so don’t forget to do your dailies!
Blizzard community manager Arati wrote on the battle.net forums, “Just wanted to give everyone a head’s up that we are currently targeting to release Curse of Naxxramas during the month of July. Unfortunately, we still have a lot of implementing and bug fixing to get through, so please stay tuned!
“With that said, we are also targeting to reveal pricing details regarding Curse of Naxxramas next week on July 1st, so please keep an eye out for that.”
