Orson Scott Card is Scripting Firefall. The renowned science fiction author and creator of the Ender's Game series of books will be lending his writing prowess to the script of Red 5 Studios' upcoming shooter, Firefall.
According to Mark Kern, who posted on the game's dev blog this morning, Orson Scott Card will be penning the game's backstory and script.
Additionally, Card's daughter, Emily Card, will be translating the game into the form of a graphic novel which is expected to release some time before the game comes out.
Despite his popularity as a well known author, Orson Scott Card is no stranger to videogames—having worked on recent titles like Shadow Complex and the Insult Swordfighting dialogue in the classic Monkey Island.
