We have new information for Assassin’s Creed: Unity, particularly the Gamestop exclusive version of it. Believe it or not, this information was retrieved from a mailer found in a Gamestop dumpster.
Now that you’ve reeled over the dedication of our source, let’s begin. Gamestop’s letter alludes to some interesting preorder incentives for the game. As you may already now, there’s the Chemical Revolution mission. GameStop is also offering and exclusive Razor Head Spear, a weapon which they promise will change up gameplay. And then, there’s the Spin and Win.
We kinda wish we made that up. The Weekly Guillotine Spin and Win game happens every Friday and will allow you to get a chance for special prizes. This doesn’t just include extra content and games. You can also get some Unity themed swag, a home entertainment system, and free trips. We checked up the page, and it has actually been live since the ninth of this month. You can pretty much ignore the promise of SDCC tickets (the event starts tomorrow), but it’s still good for getting good stuff.
The system is quite easy. When you preorder, you get five chances to spin a virtual slot machine for these prizes every Friday. Of course, it stands to reason that the earlier you preorder the more chances you have to get a prize. You can check it out here.
