The Sims 4: Thought Bubbles, Multi-tasking, Censor and Deluxe Content Revealed

June 8, 2014 by Ryan Parreno

Maxis has been sharing content for the new game via a really slow burn.

We have new information on new content teased for The Sims 4.

First off is this one screenshot revealing a whole lot of content all at once.  The pic shows a guy in the toilet, with a tablet on his hand, thinking of a llama? The Sims 4 is going to have details like thought bubbles, bunny slippers, and at least in the toilet, multitasking.  As a fan points out further, considering the upgrade since the last Sims game, this next incarnation should be updated with a smartphone to come with this tablet.

Up next is some deluxe content, which seems to have not created that huge a reaction among fans. Animal hats are available as Deluxe content only, available if you buy the Collectior’s, Premium, and Origin editions of the game. For those wondering, it had already be separately confirmed that hats and hairstyles will be separate, so you don’t have to worry about missing out on more than what you see here.

Finally, just to drive the point home of how far the game has gone, we have a fan pic sharing facial progression from Sims 1 to 4. To put this in context, Sims 1 came out in 2000, Sims 2 in 2004, and Sims 3 in 2009. I’m not entirely crazy about Maxis the same blonde woman in a red dress to sell the game, especially with more diversity options available now. Admittedly, this may just be because it reminds me of actress Juliette Danielle.

The Sims 4 is coming to Windows and OS X in late 2014.
