You can now pre-order Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on the PlayStation Network Store for both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Doing so will unlock the game for users on PSN starting at midnight PST on November 4, 2014—when the game is set to release.
In fact, preordering the game from the PlayStation Store will allow you to preload the game ahead of its release, so you can start playing immediately upon release instead of having to wait to download the game before doing so. There’s no word on when preloads are set to launch, however.
Here’s what Sony wrote:

Pre-order Call of Duty®: Advanced Warfare now! Play the game on 11/4 starting midnight PST.
Call of Duty®: Advanced Warfare, developed by Sledgehammer Games (co-developers of Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 3), harnesses the first three-year, all next-gen development cycle in franchise history. Call of Duty®: Advanced Warfare envisions the powerful battlegrounds of the future, where both technology and tactic have evolved to usher in a new era of combat for the franchise. Delivering a stunning performance, Academy Award® winning actor Kevin Spacey stars as Jonathan Irons – one of the most powerful men in the world – shaping this chilling vision of the future of war.
Keep in mind that the game does not support Sony’s “cross buy” function so you’ll have to pick one version or the other.
