Telltale Games has revealed the most intriguing news about a new unexpected, but certainly welcome, crossover game. Introducing The Walking Dead Pinball.
Telltale Games still owns the rights to the IP, but now they’ve worked with Zen Studios, Skybound, and Robert Kirkman himself to make a new digital pinball title based on the series. The trailer gives us a quick look at a cabinet, which shows off the games’ main cast, and of course, features a zombie as an obstacle. They also promise to recapture The Walking Dead: Season One’s narrative, going through locations like Clementine’s treehouse, Everett’s pharmacy, all the way to Savannah.
For those of you who remember Pinball of the Dead, or even farther back, the Devil’s Crush games, this is welcome news for sure. Pinball video games has been enjoying a renaissance of sorts under Zen Studios, and we can’t wait to see what IP they can tackle next.
The Walking Dead Pinball will be on PC, consoles, and mobile, although Zen did not mention any platforms or a release date. Zen Studios publishes everywhere though, so it wouldn’t be a stretch to expect it on pretty much everything, including Wii U, Vita, heck, the Mac and Windows App Stores. We can expect to see it this E3, but in the meantime, check out the reveal trailer below.
