Gran Turismo 6 is finally bringing the Ayrton Senna Tribute to the world via Update 1.08.
Originally exclusively available in a special edition Playstation 3 Super-Slim bundle, the Ayrton Senna Tribute is a free update that will bring new challenge events that parallel the career of the famed racer. It also brings three cars Senna used in his career, the 1978 DAP Kart, 1983 West Surrey Racing F3, and 1985 Lotus 97T. You can win two trophies for beating Senna’s tribute events; the Hero Trophy for completing them all, and the Senna Master trophy for earning gold in them all.
On the side, Gran Turismo 6 is also getting another concept car. Introducing the Mitsubishi Vision GT. This is based on the Mitsubishi Concept XR-PHEV Evolution Vision GT, an all-wheel-drive plug-in hybrid with a 8-speed dual clutch transmission and S-AWC vehicle dynamic control system. So, it’s a hybrid, but it’s not cakewalk on the road. As always, you can purchase the car in-game or try to earn it for free by beating the Mitsubishi Vision GT Season Event.
This all comes in a hefty 1.4 GB update, which may take you 20 minutes to download, but for those of you still playing Gran Turismo 6, I’m sure it’s worth it. You can watch the Mitsubishi Vision GT and Ayrton Senna Tribute videos below.
