Quantum Break Gameplay Teased by Sam Lake, Releases in 2015

May 29, 2014 by Ian Miles Cheong

Quantum Break, which comes out next year, gets teased by its creator Sam Lake.

Earlier today, Remedy Entertainment’s Sam Lake teased that new footage of Quantum Break would be surfacing today. And now, true to his word, Remedy Entertainment has put out some brand new footage of the game, showcasing some actual gameplay from the title and making a nice change of pace from their previously revealed stuff, which tended to focus more on the live action side of things.

“Quantum Break is the fusion of a cinematic action game and a live action show,” says Sam Lake in the trailer. “The game is about heroes. The show is about villains.”

Lake discusses the game’s protagonist Jack Choice and how it’s up to him to stop the end of time itself. According to Lake, the show itself focuses on an organization known as Monarch, which serves as the primary antagonists to Jack. The show follows their scheming.

“We are working hard to bring you an entertainment experience like no other,” says Lake, who reveals that the game will be out in 2015.

Quantum Break’s live gameplay demo will be revealed at Gamescom 2014. It is exclusive to the Xbox One.
