Ready At Dawn insists that there was no graphical downgrades from the recent Twitch stream of The Order: 1886. We run down the nitty gritty for you below.
No less than the studio’s founder, Andrea Pessino, came up online to explain that the issues with the game’s graphical quality stemmed from the stream and not the game itself. He also assured fans that they will take care of any tearing issues in the game if it ever comes up, but they well be sure to fix those issues if they ever come up.
Regarding the uniforms, they were not suddenly simplified or rendered differently. They are completely different, called ‘infiltration’ uniforms and better suited for combat.
We already shared high quality video of said stream, but it seemed worth noting that this propped up as an issue. We hope Ready at Dawn recognizes that the onus is on them to prove that The Order: 1886’s graphical quality has improved in future reveal events. We can understand the extenuating circumstances, and a lot of the skepticism is unfair, but if Ready at Dawn has the goods, they should just show it and quell all the talk.
The Order: 1886 is exclusive to the Playstation 4, to be released this Q4 2014.
