Eager players can now pre-order Gauntlet on Microsoft Windows via Steam and get all the perks of ordering early before it hits digital shelves on September 3rd.
"The classic Gauntlet 4-player co-op action gameplay returns in a completely new experience! Play as one of four distinct heroes in an intense monster filled dungeon brawler with a combination of both uniquely built and randomly generated levels to explore. Battle the endless hordes of foes as you and your friends fight for treasure and glory via both local and online co-op multiplayer," the game is described.
Players will also be able to see the return of the game's four classic characters: Warrior, Valkyrie, Elf, and Wizard. There will also be new deadly powers and it can also harm your party if you use it the wrong way. Additionally, there are also more ways one can die in a game that'll surprise fans. This can all be experienced with either a keyboard and mouse or controller.
A special weapon, armor, and comic will be given to those who pre-order. "Morak’s hordes will tremble at the Warrior’s feet when he dons these horrific implements of mayhem. Also receive the new Gauntlet: Darkness Calls digital comic, produced by DC Comics, which details the origins of the Gauntlet’s most vile master. Comic will be delivered on the day the game is released," the post details.
Gauntlet can be pre-ordered for $19.99, but there is also a 4-Pack available for $59.99.
