4J Studios has revealed Playstation 3 owners are receiving their equivalent to TU16, Patch 1.06, this coming May 28.

So, do you guys remember why that’s relevant? That’s right, it’s because that’s the same update where 4J promised PS3 Minecraft players will be getting the Candy Texture Pack. Now they too, will get their chance to build gingerbread houses and plant lollipops and all that silly candy land stuff. This was promised as far back as April 17, so it’s good to see 4J finally pull through with it.
On the side, Xbox 360 owners just received new bug fixes for TU16. You can read the patch notes here. Among the highlights are you won't be invisible when you respawn after dying anymore, and streaming music will come back on after a CD has been ejected in the Jukebox.
