Word on the street is that a company is acquiring PopCap for $1 billion. Numerous sources, including Techcrunch, cite the acquisition of the Seattle-based studio.
The buyer is unknown at this moment, but Zynga and Electronic Arts are strong possibilities given their penchant for acquiring smaller development houses.
