A self-professed insider, going by the handle Tidux, claims to have confirmed some rumors for Sony’s E3 for this year. We want to be clear, this should all be considered rumors, but if you are curious to hear what might be in store for us, we have outlined the main claims below:
· Uncharted for the Playstation 4 will get a three minute trailer.
· The Order: 1886 will get a stage demo.
· Driveclub will once again be featured on stage by Evolution Studios, to get some time in the limelight.
· Guerilla Games’ new IP, whatever it is, will also be in the event. The company has worked exclusively on Killzone games since 2004, so yeah, this is probably a new Killzone.
· Finally, Sony Japan has apparently been working on five games in development. They will be showing two to three of those games in the event.
Could one of those games be The Last Guardian?
Now that that’s out of the way, again, we want to be clear that we have no confirmation that these rumors are true. It is a claim in support of earlier leaks, so make of that what you will. We do know that Sony is coming off the momentum of having sold 7 million PS4s very rapidly, and they have dropped hints that they will have an exciting event in the making.
I should add, it was pretty odd that none of these leaks make any mention of Project Morpheus, whether it will appear or not at all. Do you guys think Sony’s VR is making its way to E3? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below.
