Power Up to Super Saiyan Mode and Shoot Kamehamehas With Kinect

June 22, 2011 by Josh Wanamaker

In an explosion of brilliance, Washio has created a mod that turns users all Super-Saiyan like, and allows them to fire up Kamehameha blasts of varying power.

Japanese engineer and certifiable genius Tomoto Shimizu Washio (hogehoge335 on Youtube) has, all on his own, proven the value of Microsoft's Kinect. In an explosion of brilliance, Washio has created a mod that turns users all Super-Saiyan like, and allows them to fire up Kamehameha blasts of varying power. Setting this up to work with one person is a feat, but he went on to create a multiplayer party mode version as well:

The guy also made a Kinect mod to trasform into Ultraman Seven. He's done all this for the world, and has yet to receive a Nobel prize. Amazing.

You can download the latest version of of this mod here, but be aware that it doesn't function with the recently released official Kinect SDK beta.
