Red Dead Online Receives New Single-Player Missions

February 17, 2021 by Dennis Patrick

More solo game missions have been added to the game.

Rockstar Games as of late is known for two IPs being Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption. With Grand Theft Auto V, players not only received a new mainline installment with a campaign taking players through another crime-based journey but an online component called Grand Theft Auto Online. Its popularity blew up immensely and it’s still a game being supported today. In fact, with its popularity as high as it is, there wasn’t much of a surprise to see that Rockstar Games was going to offer the same multiplayer treatment with Red Dead Redemption 2’s release.

Both games have a solid solo campaign experience but those that want to connect could do so with the online multiplayer component. Their players have a wide variety of game modes to go through or simply roam the open world as much as they’d like. However, some players prefer to go through games and missions alone and it looks like there’s been an effort for both video game online counterparts to receive a solo game mission experience.

Today we’re finding out that Rockstar Games has added three new missions into Red Dead Online that can be enjoyed as a single-player experience. So far these three missions are attached to the A New Source of Employment telegram selection which will focus on players completing a dangerous task such as thievery or defending a cargo load. Either way, each mission will require players to use their utmost cunning and skills when facing the law or other criminal scum that comes across their way.

We’re certainly eager to see just how well these missions are received by the community. After all, this is an online multiplayer component for Red Dead Redemption 2 so there are some incentives in connecting with other players. However, since Red Dead Redemption 2 never received an expansion that adds another solo campaign for players to go through, there are bound to be plenty of eager fans that are looking to take on the solo challenges.
