We have new details for villains in Batman Arkham Knight.
So, four more villains have allegedly been confirmed via IMDB, following the reveal that Man-Bat got listed in the site. We’ve covered Man-Bat in detail before, so we will go through the rest instead. Bear in mind we are not saying these characters are confirmed, but the rumor’s out there. For some of the names here, it seems like it was highly likely they were going to make it anyway.
Killer Moth was originally a joke character, infamous for his garish costume, and for being the 1st villain Batgirl met, as well as the 1st one she beat. Sick of being made fun of, he made a deal with Neron to receive otherworldly power and renamed himself to Charaxes. As Charaxes, he was eventually killed, but later comics revealed both a possibly resurrected Moth and a new villain wearing a new costume and the same name. He was referenced in both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, presumably already deceased, so they will need to explain his reappearance a bit.
Deadshot is one of the best assassins in the world and an avowed enemy of Batman. He originally appears as a crimefighter in Gotham who intended to replace the Bats, and has been closely associated with the Suicide Squad. Deadshot is one of the easiest villains to use in the games, and so he has appeared as a bad guy in Arkham City, Arkham Origins, and Arkham Origins Blackgate. This is just a rumor, but no one would be surprised if he was confirmed.
Poison Ivy is one of the more famous Batman supervillains, made famous in the cartoons and in the big screen. Briefly described, she is an eco-terrorist with ultrahuman abilities, matching the lethality of biochemical weapons. She has been a boss in both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, so again, if she makes another round here, it would not be a surprise.
Finally, Bane is the villain who broke Batman’s back. Really, that’s all you need to know. He’s basically been in all the Arkham games, and a boss in all of them save Arkham Origins Blackgate. This barely counts as a rumor, but fans of the masked marauder are sure to welcome his confirmation.
Batman Arkham Knight will be coming October 14 for Windows, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
