Sony Survey Indicates They’re Interested In Reputation System, Letting You Change PSN Username

April 2, 2014 by Ryan Parreno

Sorry, this survey was not for everyone, but it seems its results could benefit all.

Sony has come out with a few survey questions that have fans speculating if they’re this close to adding frequent fan requests, like a reputation system and – surprise – the ability to change your PSN username.

Other things Sony is curious about is if Playstation fans want to have chat across different consoles, like Vita to PS3, a skill based matchmaking system, as many 3rd parties are putting in their games now, the chance to go invisible so you can be on lurk mode, eight people party chat, messages across different consoles, so you see PS3, Vita and PS4 messages regardless of what system you use, and onscreen notifications when your friends go online.

Want in on the survey? Sorry, this one seems tied up to a particular promotion, so if you haven’t been asked to take it by Sony yet, you probably won’t be. Should be interesting to see if any or all of these end up making it to PSN for real.
