It’s April 1. We know. It’s basically a minefield of fun lies and groan-worthy fibs as a news editor, but an image spotted by Game Informer might just lead to something real. Ubisoft’s original Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon was first revealed on April Fool’s Day, and now an Instagram post from Hobo with a Shotgun director Jason Eisener might have just let slip the game’s sequel.
Eisener is a friend of Blood Dragon's creative director Dean Evans, so with that in mind, take a look at the below Tweet.
Blood Dragon soundtrack by Power Glove coming soon! Art work by signalnoise released by @invadauk and… http://t.co/KLnIBgTomK
— Jason Eisener (@jasoneisener) April 1, 2014
Did you follow the link? There you’ll find Eisener holding the aforementioned record, but the real meat comes from the image behind him. A screen with a logo for Blood Dragon III: Vietnam War 2 is in plain sight, which is a name just crazy enough to be real.
His subsequent Tweet used the Vietnam War 2 hashtag, so this is either an elaborate ruse or something to get excited over.
This would be a killer game/movie/comic/revolution. Solid work from @AndyBelanger #vietnamwar2 pic.twitter.com/558pfSqGgt

This is why April 1 can be a chore. We’ll make sure to confirm or deny this story as soon as more details become available.
