Achievement Unlocked: Player Reaches One Million Gamerscore

March 13, 2014 by Stephen Daly

After eight years, three months, and thousands of games.

You might think you have a pretty impressive Achievement of Trophy collection but it's unlikely you're in the same league as Stallion83 who last night reached one million Gamerscore while playing Titanfall.

More than 8,000 people watched as the milestone was reached halfway through a seven hour stream of Respawn's game by Stallion83, aka Ray Cox IV.

Appropriately enough Cox earned an Achievement called ‘I liked a Challenge’ to push him over the mark. “I’m not stopping, I’m not going. I’m staying number one forever!” he declared at the end of the stream.

Cox says the process has taken eight years, three months, and "I don't know how many days," but he adds it required, "many many hours, many nights, I can’t explain how much I’ve put into this."

He already had a place in the Guiness Book of World Records for the most Gamerscore prior to passing the one million mark.

Greeting the news on Twitter, Cox posted an image of his Xbox Live avatar and Gamerscore:
