Xbox 360 Gets First Dibs On Minecraft City Texture Pack

March 6, 2014 by Ryan Parreno

Finally, you can make those Corporate Creeps the home they deserve, that does not at all simulate anything in real life.

Minecraft is getting a brand new texture pack for Xbox 360 tomorrow. Introducing the City Texture Pack.

The City Texture Pack is described as ideal for building structures. They share a screenshot of an internal office building, Corporate Creepers notwithstanding. Contrary to what you may have imagined, you can make buildings look as lively and detailed as possible, as the screenshot clearly shows off different colors and textures, simulated office light effects and reasonable facsimiles of tables and windows. On the contrary, this new pack is going to liven up your structures. You can make a building as arrogantly modernist or as extravagantly art deco as you would like.

However, this texture pack extends to other architectural feats, with another screenshot showing off two boats by the dock. Really, it’s everything you need to recreate the Wolf of Wall Street, and that other Di Caprio movie. No word on when the Playstation 3 is getting the pack, but considering 4J's port is a little fresh, and they're prioritizing the next Title Update, it could take a while. The Minecraft City Texture Pack will be available on Xbox 360 this March 7 for $ 1.
