The Witness, revealed for PS4 almost a year ago at the console's announcement event, is still in development and now has a 10 minute walkthrough trailer narrated by the game's lead designer Jonathan Blow.
Speaking about The Witness last May, Blow commented:
"The open-world aspect of the design is important. It means you have freedom in terms of where you go and what puzzles you choose to approach right now. At any time you can just stop what you're doing, turn around and go somewhere else, and the game world has plenty of new things to show you."
He's also said that he wants to make the game continually interesting which is something he feels the puzzle genre traditionally struggles with and that communicating with the player so that they understand The Witness' universe is an important part of the game.
You can check out some screenshots here and Blow's commentary below. The Witness is headed to PS4, PC, and iOS devices later this year and is a timed console exclusive meaning it could come to other platforms eventually.
