Young Horses' community manager Phil Tibitoski has announced that Octodad: Dadliest Catch, which launches tomorrow for PC, Mac, and Linux, will have local co-op for two-to-four players.
Tibitoski wrote:
"So, one of the last secrets we've been holding onto is that Dadliest Catch will have Local Co-op for 2-4 players. Personally I think 3 people is the sweet spot, but 4 gets CRAZY in some of the busier levels."
The co-op mode was confirmed on Twitter:

Players will be able to pick up Dadliest Catch from Steam, Humble Bundle, GOG. The studio recently said "March is the goal" for the PlayStation 4 version of the game.
Dadliest Catch is the sequel to Octodad, a game by DePaul University students which you can download for free here. The game pits players as an octopus seeking to blend in with humans.
