2KGames has released a trailer of the upcoming sci-fi themed first person shooter XCOM ahead of the company's big show at E3. Set in the 1950s, XCOM is humanity's first and only defense against the alien invasion.
The trailer shows off the origins of the alien attack in the United States, which the XCOM Division is tasked to deal with. It contains scenes of battle, the the acquisition and research of alien technology, and encounters of the third kind.
XCOM will be released on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on March 6, 2012.
