In an upcoming update, Double Helix increases the Killer Instinct roster with the addition of Spinal. The skeleton warrior makes his debut in the latest handful of screenshots.
PlayXBLA.com teased Spinal's release with three new screenshots of the character shield bashing and slicing his way through enemies. Double Helix did not announce a specific release date for Spinal's release, but he should join the roster "soon."
Double Helix released an update for Killer Instinct to tweak character openers and change the ranking system. With the update, Double Helix also swapped the free character from Jago to Sabrewulf. If players want to access the rest of the roster, a $20 Xbox One purchase grants access to the remaining five characters.
