There are plenty of hyped and anticipated video games that either released or are slated to launch this year. We had the likes of Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Cyberpunk 2077, and of course The Last of Us Part 2. When it came to The Last of Us Part 2, there were some issues we had to endure. While the game had its share of delays, it was the announcement of an indefinite delay while we’re going through this coronavirus health pandemic. It left fans with no real insight on when the game would actually see a launch into the market.
Fortunately, the delay wasn’t long as we now have a release date for June 19, 2020. With that said, we’re still learning more about this game and the latest happens to be a download size. The video game is slated to launch into the market with a 100GB of storage space required and that should come with two discs when the game releases into the market with a physical edition. That’s not too surprising either as Naughty Dog has been delivering very highly detailed and expansive cinematic video game titles.
With The Last of Us Part 2 has a massive following, we’re sure that there wasn’t going to be much of a push back to make room for their video game when it comes to their HDD space. It does pose a concern for those that are working with the original HDD when you have games like big title games people are still enjoying or planned to play such as Final Fantasy 7 Remake or even Cyberpunk 2077.
Currently, The Last of Us Part 2 is slated to hit the market on June 19, 2020, exclusively for the PlayStation 4. We’ll, of course, keep you updated on the latest announcements regarding the beloved IP.
