Alien: Isolation Will Run at 1080p on Xbox One, PS4

Alien: Isolation, a brand new Alien game that forgoes cooperative multiplayer to focus on a single, solitary experience through the sci-fi universe, will run at 1080p on both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

That should be expected, but after the issues with Ryse: Son of Rome and Call of Duty: Ghosts on the Xbox One, nothing is guaranteed. The news was confirmed earlier today by the game’s busy Twitter account.

The SEGA product will also be a Day 1 Digital game across all platforms, meaning that you’ll be able to dig into the chilling space shooter without leaving the house.

Unfortunately, the game won’t be launching on the Wii U. Although there seems to be some interest from Nintendo’s dedicated fanbase, the development team has confirmed that there are no current plans to bring Isolation over to the dual-screen device. For now, you can expect to play the game later this year on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, and PS4.
