Epic has been keeping their Fortnite battle royale fresh with a slew of new skins, challenges, crossover events, and of course new components to the gameplay itself. Today we’re finding out that helicopters are officially being added into the game. You can take to the skies with this vehicle along with some of your teammates.
The helicopter will be known as simply the Choppa and it can allow one player to fly the vehicle into the skies while carrying four teammates. It’s worth noting that it doesn’t look like you can actually fire anything from the helicopter itself. With that said, the teammates that are sitting on the edge of the helicopter will be able to use their own weapons to hit the enemies that are on the ground.
“Get in and fly out. Grab up to 4 other squadmates and take on the enemy teams with this new vehicle.”
We’re sure that there will be a slew of new challenges that deals specifically with the Choppa as well which should give players an incentive to familiarize themselves with the new vehicle. Likewise, we’re sure that there could be some tweaks in the future if it proves that the vehicle proves to be too much of an OP component to the game, but for now all we can do is wait and see how players take to the Choppa.
