APB: Reloaded has just launched their open beta. The new beta will feature new weapons and items, skill rating system and much more. Improvements that are also included in the beta are clan-based combat, matchmaking improvements, new game modes, new district and more, which will be added later on. You can download the beta here.
APB: Reloaded first started out as APB: All Points Bulletin; a third person shooter, sandbox game based in urban sprawls in which players could join up either of the two sides and go against each other. Developed and published by Realtime Worlds, the game servers were shut down back in 2010, due to poor critical reception and other factors. However, K2 subsidiary company reloaded productions, announced that APB will be relaunched as a free to play game that would be renamed to APB: Reloaded.
