Namco Bandai plans to reveal a new Tales game on December 12 through a NicoNico stream at 7pm Japan time.
According to Siliconera, the announcement of the stream came from a Tales teaser site. The website counts down to the stream day with only seven days remaining. Namco Bandai also recently trademarked the Tales of Zestiria name in the European trademark database, so the stream doesn't come as a huge surprise.
Despite the new cycle of console hardware, expect the next Tales game to release on older platforms. Hideo Baba, produce on the Tales series, explained that he will not release a Tales games on next generation platforms. Instead, the Tales games follow the largest fan demand, and that audience is on the PlayStation 3.
