Ubisoft Rewards Assassin’s Creed 4 Customers Over Pre-Order Mishap

November 21, 2013 by Ian Miles Cheong

Ubisoft is automatically upgrading Assassin’s Creed 4 versions to Digital Deluxe versions over a pre-order mishap.

A number of players who pre-ordered Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag on the PC are reporting that their pre-order bonus does not automatically activate and as such, they are unable to claim the goodies they are entitled to by having pre-ordered the game.

Not one to let the issue get out of hand, Ubisoft has quickly rewarded these customers by manually upgrading copies of the games from the Digital Special Edition to the Digital Uplay Deluxe Edition, which contains a host of goodies that are otherwise unavailable in the standard version of the game.

Ubisoft has begun sending out e-mails to inform customers of the deal, as seen below:

It's always awesome to see publishers like Ubisoft treating their customers in an awesome way.
