Naughty Dog took to the PlayStation Blog to announce that they have donated all the money received from the Limited Run purchases of the Jak and Daxter franchise.
This is pretty awesome news as there was a ton of sales made from the Limited Run edition Jak and Daxter games. If you remember when the Limited Run games went live, the response from Jak fans were incredible with Collector’s Editions selling out within hours and the Standard Editions within the first week.
If you wanted to get your hands on the physical edition of the games, then you’d have to move fast as they sold out pretty fast. However, at the time no one knew that Naughty Dog would donate all the money to worth charitable causes. Today the news broke that the company decided to donate the money to 9 worthy charities.

- LGBT Center of Los Angeles
- Able Gamers
- DAGERS
The titles – Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, Jak 3, and even Jak X: Combat Racing, were some of the best titles on the PS2. Longtime fans can relive their fond memories with the franchise, on the latest generation on consoles. It’s the season of giving and there’s not a better time to start then right now. The charity causes were all awesome and if you managed to pick up a Limited Run Games special edition, you should be happy that your money went to charity.
