Sony Unveils Babylon’s Fall During State of Play, Watch Gameplay Here

That was unexpected!

Sony had tons of exciting announcements during their State of Play earlier today, but one which came as a big shock was Square Enix and PlatinumGames unveiling their latest collaboration with Babylon’s Fall. Check out the fast-paced trailer down below.

What we can make from the trailer is the game will be similar to past PlatinumGames titles as it will be fast, beat ’em up game with intricate fighting techniques. The whole trailer is shrouded in mystery, so as time goes on we’ll learn more about specific details. Square Enix detailed on a note on the PS Blog for players, which you can read down below.

“Babylon’s Fall is a brand new game from Square Enix, developed in partnership with renowned action specialists PlatinumGamesInc (Bayonette series, Nier: Automata)

In our new teaser trailer, unveiled during the State of Play broadcast earlier today, take an early look at the game’s fluid action gameplay for the first time as well its striking brushstroke visual art-style delivered by the original “Brushwork Filter”.

Keep your eyes open for more information about Babylon’s Fall this summer.”

As mentioned above, Babylon’s Fall is the latest project coming from an exciting collaboration between Square Enix and PlatinumGames. The game will be fast-paced lightning action combat and that is pretty much all we know about the mysterious project thus far, however, more details will be shared this summer. As of now, we can revel in the excitement, but that’s pretty much all we can do at this point.
