Brink's reputation has taken some hard hits upon its rough release this week. Players and reviewers alike have complained about the game's performance-related issues.
The developer says that they are currently working on updates to address the game's various problems. That patch is being released today.
In addition to the planned patches, Splash Damage has also announced that the first DLC for the game will be released for free in June.
"We would like to thank you for supporting Brink and for your continued feedback. To show our appreciation for your support of Brink, we will be making the first DLC for Brink available for free when it is released."
An incremental update will also be released for players on Steam that addresses AI, GPU and server issues.
