Stardew Valley Update 1.4 Brings New Endgame Content, Fixed Mechanics, and Much More

November 14, 2019 by Jordan Biazzo

This sounds like an epic update!

Developer Eric Barone, “Concerned Ape”, has taken to his blog post to detailed the recently announced update 1.4 for Stardew Valley.

This update for Stardew Valley is going to absolutely massive as Concerned Ape is adding a bunch of new endgame content, a slew of fixed bugs, and refined gameplay mechanics.

Recently known as the ‘Everything” update, update 1.4 brings a change to basically everything in the game. If you’re a newcomer to the game or a longtime fan, this update will be such a treat as it will give both type of players a bunch of new content and a smoother gameplay experience. Stardew Valley Update 1.4 is set to release for the PC on November 26th while console users will have to wait a little longer for a release date.

Check out what developer Concerned Ape said about the 1.4 Update down below:

The 1.4 Update

Now, the next big thing for Stardew Valley is going to be the free 1.4 update, which adds a pretty big variety of new things to Stardew Valley. One of my main goals with 1.4 was to finally “polish” the game to the degree that I’ve always wanted.

What I mean by that is that I wanted to fix all the bugs that have been lingering in the game, to fix a lot of weird or annoying things about the controls & feel of the game, and add in a lot of “quality of life” features that will make the game more seamless to play. I feel pretty confident that this goal has been met!
