The Gears of War franchise is celebrating its 13th anniversary and Coalition Studios is releasing new content for Gears 5, in lieu of the special occasion.
The announcement comes via Twitter, in which Microsoft revealed the following. “Hop into Gears 5 for free boost, double stars in Tour of Duty, and a Cog tag blood spray.” The event will conclude on November 11.
For those interested in picking up these free items, it is important to note that you only have until November 11th, as it is a timed event.
Gears 5 is continuously receiving new content as not so long ago on Halloween, the game got a brand new spooky themed event. The new content titled “Mad Man’s Monster” is currently available to download right now and is a 20 wave Horde mode.
