Titanfall Release Date Announced, Collector’s Edition Details Disclosed

October 22, 2013 by Ian Miles Cheong

Titanfall is slated for release early next year on all three of its platforms.

Respawn Entertainment has put out a release date for their upcoming first-person shooter, Titanfall. In a press release today, the studio announced that the game will be making landfall on March 11, 2014 in North America followed by March 13 in Europe.

Titanfall was originally revealed this past June, a few days before the gam made its debut at E3. In development for both the Xbox One and Windows PC, Titanfall is slated to be one of the earliest next-gen shooters and is touted as an "exclusive" to Microsoft platforms.

The game is also in development at an external studio for the Xbox 360. It is not known what content is going to be stripped from the current-gen version of the game.

The game is expected to "break shooter routines" with its verticality and all new gameplay elements.

For those of you who are willing to pay $249, you can pick up the Collector's Edition of the game, which includes plenty of goodies including an 18" statue of a Titan, as seen above.
