The Walking Dead from Telltale Games was one video game adaptation from a television and comic book series that is well worth playing. This series follows a young girl named Clementine who had to grow up and attempt to live in a new harsh world after the zombie apocalypse. Throughout her journey, she’s had the helping hand of several characters, each with their own motives and morals. However, the series that spanned multiple video game titles have concluded and gamers could now purchase a collective series that bundles all the past video games. Unfortunately, for PlayStation 4 owners, the game didn’t outright work.
It’s not new for video game titles to receive a day one patch to help fix and bugs or glitches that developers may have come across. This is to give players a seamless and hopefully a solid video game experience. But, with that said, it was discovered after the launch that the day one patch actually prevented the game from starting on the PlayStation 4. Thankfully, it didn’t take the development team over at Skybound Games to deliver a patch to fix the bug from the day one patch and it’s been confirmed that this bug only affected the PlayStation 4 platform.
Regardless, fans can now enjoy the full storyline once again. We won’t spoil anything if you have yet to dive into this series, but The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Edition combines all four seasons, DLC and the Michonne spin-off under one package. For those of you who purchased the game on the PlayStation 4, you’ll want to make sure to update onto Patch V1.02.
