Borderlands 3 is nearly upon us and there are a ton of fans out there who have been eager to get their hands on a third mainline installment. If you and your group of friends are ready to jump into the game upon release then chances are you’ve already pre-ordered while waiting for the launch date to get here. With that said, if you have yet to pre-order the game and are still interested in the title, then you can save $10 by picking up a copy at your nearest Walmart.
This bit of news comes from the Cheap Ass Gamer video game deals Twitter account which alerts followers of the latest video game deals as they are discovered. It appears that Walmart is already planning on a discount for the launch of Borderlands 3 by marking the game at just $49.94, which as mentioned earlier, is a savings of about $10. At the moment, this just seems to be based on the standard version of the game and while the photo supplied from Cheap Ass Gamer only showcases the PlayStation 4 copy of Borderlands 3, we imagine this discount will be applied to the Xbox One platform as well.
We’re just days away now from the release of Borderlands 3 which is set for September 13, 2019. Within the game, players will take on the role of a new vault hunter that must stop the Calypso twins, Troy and Tyreen, after they had discovered vaults beyond Pandora. If you’re a fan of the past installments then you’ll find yourself right at home with Borderlands 3. This is still an action RPG FPS that will likely work best if you have a group of friends blasting your way through enemies while picking up the plethora of loot along the way.
While the Walmart deal will likely only be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms, Borderlands 3 is also set to launch on the PC platform with a Google Stadia release coming at a later date.
