It’s been years since Nintendo put out The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening on the Nintendo Gameboy. This title launched in 1993 and now this classic is finally seeing a release for the Nintendo Switch. Remaking the game to meet today’s visuals while keeping the overall top-down view perspective is certainly creating a buzz. For instance, you’ll get look into the dungeon creator mode where you can create your own unique dungeons to play. Likewise, the title also showcased some the enemies and bosses you’ll have to face against during your journey. From the feedback we’ve seen so far online, it looks like fans are eager to pick the game up once it releases and is also hoping the same remake treatment is given to some of the other The Legend of Zelda titles previously released.
Furthermore, this is not the only game being developed over at Nintendo. While Gamescom presented Nintendo the opportunity to showcase the gameplay of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, the company is also bringing out The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Sequel. This upcoming sequel to Breath of the Wild doesn’t have a name quite yet and we’re still waiting for a real premise, but the game was announced to be in development during Nintendo’s E3 2019 Direct upload. As for when you can officially get your hands on The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, the game is set to launch on September 20, 2019, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch platform.
