The Last of Us was one of the most popular video game exclusives for the PlayStation 3 which was later remastered for the PlayStation 4. Now as we gear up for its upcoming release, more hype was just added towards the title thanks to Troy Baker. For those of you who are not aware, Troy Baker is the voice actor behind the character Joel in the series and he was recently featured in the Manchester Comic-Con. During this convention Push Square was able to speak to the voice actor and held an interview.
This interview was not released in full yet, but we do know that Troy Baker has made some big comments. One of those comments was that The Last of Us Part 2 is the most ambitious video game Naughty Dog has released. It doesn’t come to much of a surprise as each release from the studio there seems to be a push to deliver something bigger and better than before, but this comment seems to indicate that Naughty Dog went the extra mile.
The Last of Us Part 2 takes place a few years after the events of the first installment, but we won’t spoil anything in case you haven’t dabbled into this franchise yet. While we know that the game is heading to the PlayStation 4, it has yet to be revealed just when the game would be releasing into the market. At any rate, these comments made by the voice actor who takes on the role of Joel in the video game series will likely excite some gamers. However, this does come after the rumors started to circulate online from past employee contractors who painted a rather bleak picture of the studio and its crunch culture.
