Players Can Customize A Total Of Five Areas For Gunsmith Loadouts In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

July 23, 2019 by Dennis Patrick

You will want to choose wisely when you customize your main loadout weapons.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has slowly been receiving new details for what players can expect over the past couple months. One of the latest details goes over Gunsmithing, an option presented to players for customizing their weapon loadouts. While gamers are typically offered several areas to customize their weapons, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare may be a bit limiting according to an official blog post made over at Activision.

Thanks to David Hodgson, the editorial manager for Activision, gamers are now finding out that there are just a total of five slots available to make customization options for their primary and secondary weapons. Known as Gunsmithing in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, players will be able to make quite the robust weapon customization for their primary and secondary weapon. David Hodgson used an assault rifle as an example of what areas can be customized for use in multiplayer games.

For assault rifles, players will be able to make changes to the muzzle, lasers, optic, stock, rear grip, magazine, underbarrel, barrel, and a perk.

“Thankfully, there’s an impressive array of options, as we cycle through some of the many customization options, at various times locking in a Muzzle Break, Balanced Suppressor, Scout Combat Optic, Lightweight Stock, CQB grip, Corp Combat, and Holo Sight.”

However, the game will only present players with five slots to make changes to so you’ll have to decide on what areas can be left alone. As a result, players may have to make a few adjustments overtime to decide on what fits their play style the best. For now, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is slated to release on October 25, 2019, for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC platforms.
