Ubisoft has taken to their blog to announce some exciting new details about the upcoming The Division film.
The Division movie has been officially announced a little while back with its stars Jake Gyllenhaal(Spider-Man: Far From Home) and Jessica Chastain (IT Chapter 2), but now, the video game publisher has released even more details about the highly anticipated film!
The new information provided on their official website announces the new director of the film — David Leitch (Deadpool 2, Atomic Blonde, The Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw). In addition to the new director, we also received the official home of the movie’s release, which will be the streaming giant — Netflix.

Starring Jessica Chastain and Jake Gyllenhaal, The Division is set in the near future, where a pandemic virus has spread via contaminated cash on Black Friday, decimating New York City and killing millions. If civilization has any hope of rebuilding out of the chaos, it will be up to The Division, a group of highly trained civilians, to save what remains of society.
