Looks like we’re having to wait a bit longer for the upcoming DLC.

Cuphead became a quick interest from gamers worldwide as it had a very unique art style. The game, developed by Studio MDHR, mimicked the old look of cartoons. But on top of the visuals and animations, Cuphead also came with a challenging gameplay component. This title has a few side-scrolling platforming levels, but mainly the game focuses on players fighting against a series of boss fights. This makes the game challenging from start to finish and with the multiplayer component, it was easy to pick up for those who were looking for another classic retro style game where the story took more of backseat position with gameplay being the central focus.

You either love or hate Cuphead and if you’re one of the gamers that enjoyed their time playing through the game, then chances are you’ve been waiting on the upcoming DLC. Cuphead’s DLC is being called The Delicious Last Course and it brings in more bosses, new weapons, a unique adventure along with a brand new character known as Ms. Chalice. As a result, this will be a hefty DLC for gamers to go through but it looks like the game DLC launch date was pushed back for developers to further work on their game.

This bit of news comes from the official Xbox blog in which Studio MDHR co-director, Chad Moldenhauer, stated that the DLC was being pushed back until sometime in 2020. Apparently, as it stands right now, the game content is not up to standards with Studio MDHR and needs more level of care along with quality before they feel that it’s ready for the public to enjoy. Unfortunately, we don’t know just when the game will actually launch as there was no official release date attached to the statement. For now, it looks like we’re going to wait a good while before we get our hands on a copy. With that said, Cuphead is available on PC, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch platforms.
