Batman: Arkham Origins Multiplayer Gameplay Demonstrated

September 19, 2013 by Stephen Daly

Four videos for the game’s online mode released.

Batman: Arkham Origins is introducing multiplayer to the series for the first time and four new trailers have been released showing off the game's online mode which you can see below.

Each of the trailers looks at multiplayer from a different angle focusing on Batman, Robin, Joker's gang, and Bane's gang. In the mode, two teams of three take on the role of the gangs while a third team of two play as Batman and Robin.

Splash Damage, the game's multiplayer developer, has insisted that the mode has not been tacked on. The single player component, being developed by Warner Bros. Montreal, sees Batman hunted by eight assassins over the course of Christmas Eve.

Batman: Arkham Origins will be released on October 25th for PC, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii U. A spin-off, Origins Blackgate, is also being released for PS Vita and 3DS on the same day.
